In-Platform Backtests
Recast updates every week, which creates a backlog of old models. We publish the results of weekly out-of-sample forecast accuracy checks on these models for all users to view in-platform.
This helps hold Recast accountable and builds confidence that our customers’ models are consistently predicting the future.
Validation through Experimentation
In addition to in-platform backtests, Recast GeoLift allows customers to design and analyze the results of geographic-based lift tests.
Lift tests and other experiments designed with the Recast team can be used to validate model results and increase the precision of future estimates, particularly in channels with high uncertainty.
