What is Recast GeoLift?
Recast GeoLift allows you to design and analyze geographic-based lift tests.
These involve changing ad spend in select “test” geographies and comparing results with “control” geographies to determine the incremental lift of a paid media channel.
Recast GeoLift within a Marketing Stack
Geographic-based lift tests are the gold standard for measuring incrementality, and become even more powerful when used to calibrate media mix models and validate their output.
Example: Design a lift test for a channel with high uncertainty, and use lift test results to calibrate future model runs.

Design Your Experiment in 3 Easy Steps
Step 1: Ingest Data
Upload historical data including location, date, and KPI. This allows the experimentation tool to select the best geographies to include in your test group.

Step 2: Configure your Analysis
Choose between an increased spend test or decreased spend test. Then, input key parameters to receive recommendations for the best geographies in which to test.

Step 3: Deep Dive Power Analysis
Receive two possible test plans. Both plans meet baseline criteria for statistical significance, with the “High Confidence Plan” driving a higher effect size and more statistical significance.
Then, go out and run your test!

Analyze Your Experiment in 3 Easy Steps
Step 1: Ingest Data
Upload your data in the same way you did when setting up the experiment. Data should cover the experimental window as well as at least three (and up to twelve) months prior to the experiment.

Step 2: Configure your Analysis
Enter details about the test dates, locations, controls, and other inputs. Recast GeoLift will use this to analyze the confidence of the test itself as well as the performance of the channel.

Step 3: Analyze your Results
Review Recast’s estimates of the incremental lift and their statistical significance. These results can be incorporated into Recast’s MMM by providing the point estimate and confidence interval on the CPA/ROI.
